Café Harpaviljongen, Stockholm – a welcoming oasis in the city

On the outskirts of Lill-Jansskogen you will find Café Harpaviljongen, a hidden gem in serene and green surroundings that offers a cold beer or a glass of wine and small home cooked dishes. It is a welcoming oasis in the city and a contrast to the more hectic and hot streets of summertime Stockholm city center. This is where we go when we want that rural feeling and a getaway from the concrete. You see, we have a small cottage 300 kilometers from here, and this place reminds us of summer in the countryside.

Well, nice lush surroundings are always nice and tables and chairs are everywhere in the garden amongst the flowers, bushes and trees. Sit in the shade under a birch tree or in a sun lounger in the bright sunlight. We normally stay for hours, just enjoying the quiet and the calm. Dogs are welcome and plentiful and have their own water bowl to quench their thirst from.
